What Are Color Contact Lenses?

So what exactly are color contact lenses? If you are asking this question, you have probably seen someone around you who has a different eye color every day. 

The way they are doing it is with colored contact lenses, either prescription, or non prescription, depending on the needs of their eyes. Maybe you have seen someone with a set of 8ball pool balls, sharks eyes, or even whited out eyes with just black pupils? I have seen some crazy designs on these contacts, and for the most part, they are always original. 

These lenses aren't all that cheap though, with prices ranging from $50 all the way up to $500 for prescription lenses in a custom film. You would have to special order lenses that expensive though, so most of what you see online and in optometrists offices are usually priced reasonably.

Of course, you can also avail yourself with free colored contact lenses offered by many brands as part of their promotional campaign.
